My self-typing keeps alternating between Deep Winter and Deep Summer because the obvious signs do not all point in one direction. There is clear depth in my hair and eyebrows but my eyes are lighter and slightly muted rather than bright. Black is acceptable but can look severe while charcoal and deep navy are easier. Muted blue is harmonious but can drain my complexion so softness alone has not settled the question. I started with a deep winter color palette and selected comparable summer shades rather than judging unrelated colors. Could depth be my dominant feature without making me a Winter or do the clearer colors carry more weight than eye softness?
